برطانوی سائنس دانوں کا کورونا وائرس کی ویکسین کا چوہوں پر کامیاب تجربہ
برطانوی سائنس دانوں نے کورونا وائرس کی ویکسین تیار کرنے کا دعویٰ کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ ویکسین کو چوہوں پر آزمایا گیا ہے اور اس کے کامیاب نتائج سامنے آئے ہیں جس کے بعد ویکسین کو رواں برس جون تک انسانوں پر تجربے کے لیے تیار کیا جارہا ہے۔
امپیریل کالج لندن کے محققین کی ٹیم کے سربراہ ڈاکٹر پاؤل مکی نے میڈیا سے گفتگو میں بتایا کہ چوہوں میں ویکسین کو انجکشن کے ذریعے داخل ہونے کے ایک ماہ بعد ہی نتائج ملنا شروع ہوگئے تھے۔
ڈاکٹر پاؤل نے مزید بتایا کہ ان کی ٹیم پیرس کے سائنس دانوں کے ساتھ مل کر ویکسین کو بندروں پر استعمال کرنے کے لیے کام کررہی ہے جب کہ انسانوں پر اس ویکسین کو جون تک آزمایا جا سکے گا تاہم ویکسین کو مارکیٹ میں آنے میں سال بھر لگ سکتے ہیں۔
دوسری جانب جرمن سائنس دانوں نے بھی دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ کورونا وائرس کی اینٹی باڈیز تیار کر لی ہیں جو اس موزی مرض کیخلاف کارگر دوا کی تیاری میں بھی کام آسکتی ہے۔
جرمن ٹیم کے سربراہ بیرینڈ جان بوش کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم کوئی جھوٹا دلاسہ نہیں دینا چاہتے لیکن اب تک کی تحقیق کے حوصلہ افزا نتائج سامنے آئے ہیں تاہم اہم سائنسی جریدوں میں اس تحقیق کو شائع کرنے سے قبل چند اہداف کا حصول باقی ہے۔
ادھر اسرائیلی سائنس دانوں نے بھی کورونا وائرس کی ویکسین بنانے کا دعویٰ کیا تھا جس میں سائنس دانوں کو حوصلہ افزا نتائج بھی ملے تھے تاہم ابھی یہ ویکسین بھی ابتدائی مراحل میں ہے اور دو سال سے قبل مارکیٹ میں دستیاب نہیں ہوگی۔
دریں اثنا امریکی سائنس دانوں نے بھی کورونا وائرس کی ویکسین کی تیاری کا دعویٰ کیا تھا تاہم اس ویکسین کے بھی 16 ماہ سے قبل مارکیٹ میں دستیاب ہونے کے امکانات ناپید ہیں۔ ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ ان ممالک کے سائنس دانوں کو اپنی تحقیق میں ایک دوسرے کو شریک کرکے مشترکہ کوشش کرنا چاہیئے۔
واضح رہے کہ ووہان سے پھوٹنے والی کورونا وائرس کی وبا کا دوسرا بڑا پڑاؤ اٹلی میں ہے جب کہ ایران میں بھی ہلاکتوں کی تعداد میں اضافہ ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔ یورپ، امریکا، خلیجی ممالک اور جنوبی ایشیا میں کورونا وائرس کے نئے مریضوں میں اضافہ ہوا ہے۔
