پرانے ٹی وی سے 18 ماہ تک پورے قصبے کا انٹرنیٹ متاثر

ایک قصبے میں 18 ماہ تک انٹرنیٹ کسی نامعلوم اور پراسرار وجہ سے متاثر رہا طویل چھان بین کے بعد معلوم ہوا کہ اس گڑبڑ کی وجہ ایک پرانا ٹی وی تھا۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق، جزیرہ برطانیہ کے ملک ’ویلز‘ میں ایک قصبے ’ایبرہوسن‘ کی انٹرنیٹ سروس 18 ماہ تک روزانہ صبح 7 بجے سے بند ہوجاتی اور اگلے چند گھنٹوں تک بند رہتی لیکن انجینئروں تک کو اس کی وجہ معلوم نہیں ہوسکی۔

قصبے کے باسیوں کی جانب سے تقریباً روزانہ ہی براڈ بینڈ انٹرنیٹ سروس فراہم کرنے والی کمپنی سے شکایت کی جاتی۔ تاہم جب تک کمپنی کے ماہرین وہاں پہنچتے، تب تک انٹرنیٹ بحال ہوچکا ہوتا۔

اس میں کسی برقی آلے (الیکٹرونک ڈیوائس) سے بے ہنگم اور شدید قسم کا برقی مقناطیسی میدان پیدا ہوتا ہے جو چاروں طرف پھیل جاتا ہے۔ اگر اس ’’شور‘‘ (نوائس) کی فریکوئنسی ویسی ہی ہوگی جیسی براڈ بینڈ کی فریکوینسی ہے تو دونوں ایک دوسرے میں ’’دخل اندازی‘‘ کریں گی جس کی وجہ سے براڈ بینڈ سروس بند بھی ہوسکتی ہے۔

صبح ٹھیک سات بجے ’’شائن‘‘ کی سرگرمی شروع ہوگئی اور انہوں نے دیگر آلات کی مدد سے وہ مقام تلاش کرنا شروع کیا جہاں سے یہ برقی مقناطیسی شور پیدا ہورہا تھا۔

جلد ہی وہ ایک مکان تک پہنچ گئے جہاں ایک پرانا ٹی وی آن تھا… اور وہی اس ’’شائن‘‘ کا مرکز بھی تھا۔

مزید چھان بین پر معلوم ہوا کہ یہ پرانا ٹی وی اس خاندان کے ایک فرد نے اٹھارہ ماہ پہلے مرمت کرکے استعمال کرنا شروع کیا تھا۔

وہ فرد روزانہ صبح ٹھیک سات بجے بی بی سی نیٹ ورک کا پروگرام ’’ہومز انڈر دی ہیمر‘‘ دیکھنے کےلیے یہ ٹی وی آن کردیا کرتا تھا اور جب تک وہ پروگرام ختم نہ ہوجاتا، تب تک وہ ٹی وی کے سامنے ہی بیٹھا رہتا۔

چونکہ اس خاندان کو خود بھی معلوم نہیں تھا کہ اس مسئلے کی وجہ ان کے گھر میں استعمال ہونے والا ٹی وی ہے، اس لیے انہوں نے فوراً ہی اپنی غلطی مانتے ہوئے معافی مانگی اور آئندہ یہ پرانا ٹی وی استعمال نہ کرنے کا وعدہ بھی کیا۔
