GENERAL ADMISSION POLICY FOR ALL DEGREE PROGRAMS
- Admission shall be made as per USKT Admission Policy and shall be open for all candidates from Pakistan and abroad
- All applications must be submitted through USKT Online Admission Application system on or before the stipulated deadline.
- All information submitted through online application should be supported by the provision of copies of relevant transcripts and certificates. Information will not be considered valid if an official proof/document is missing.
- It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to provide complete, correct and timely information to the Admissions Office.
- In addition to the condition(s) stipulated by the USKT through admission offer letter, all admitted students MUST meet the prescribed conditions stipulated by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.
- Admissions shall be strictly on open merit.
- At least 45% of marks in the terminal degree are required to apply for admission.
- Departmental Entry / Aptitude Test (where required) shall be conducted by the concerned department, as per schedule.
- List of the selected candidates shall be displayed as per schedule. The list shall also be available on USKT website.
- The selected candidates shall be required to pay admission dues within the notified dates; otherwise, the admission shall be considered canceled.
- The deposited fee shall not be refunded except security dues or as per the Fee Refund Policy of HEC.
- Subject to the merit and availability of seat, a candidate shall be allowed to change major discipline within 14 days of commencement of classes.
- Two seats in each program shall be reserved for the disable/special candidates as per criteria of HEC policy.

How to apply online
There are a few steps to the online applying procedure.
- Firstly, the Applicant will visit the university website www.uskt.edu.pk and click the admission button from the menu and the system will take the applicant to the admission’s portal. For the first time, User will have to create an account. The applicant will click on the Create New Account button to create his/her account. The applicant will enter the required data and click the Register button. The system will ask the applicant to enter the verification code against the entered email or phone number
- Upon successful login, the system will take the applicant to welcome page. As a first step applicant will enter complete and valid basic information along with his/her scanned image.
- After completion of your basic information, Applicant will be able to click next button to complete academic information e.g. secondary, post-secondary information, higher education level (if applicable) and then click on update the information.
Program selection
- In the third step, the applicant will select the desired Faculty and Program and submit it.
How to update Challan
- Next step is to generate the Admission Processing Fee challan form. Before generating the challan form, an applicant must accept digital undertaking to confirm that information entered in the Admission Application Form is correct. In case of incorrect information, the University has the right to cancel the application/admission without any fee refund. The applicant may save the fee challan form and take a print.
- The applicants may deposit the Admission Processing Fee through bank or account office.
How to edit the application?
- The applicant may update his/her application before the payment of the Application Processing Fee.
Processing fee records
- The applicant may update his/her application before the payment of the Application Processing Fee.
- Treasurer will mark the application processing fee as paid against each Challan number.
- Upon payment of the Application Processing Fee, the applicant will export the application in PDF format, print his/her online application, and get it signed by himself/herself and parents/guardian before sending it to the campus.
- Attach Department and Treasurer Copy of challan with your application along with attested copies of following required documents.
- Copy of each Result Card
- Copy of NIC
- Two Passport size Images
- The printed application may be sent through courier or delivered by hand to the Student Service Center.
- The applicant may receive his/her admission kit from admission/receiving officer.
How to Verify Application?
- Verification officer will verify the applications according to the selection criteria and cross-check the academic particulars with online data and printed application.
- Verification officer will mark the application status as selected and the applicant will receive message or email after selection.
- The approving officer will have the authority to generate the merit list.
Admission process
- Upon selection; the applicant will again login account and finalize the application if the applicant has applied and selected in more than one program. Upon finalization, the applicant may generate the Admission Fee Challan Form.
- The applicant will export Fee Challan Form in PDF format or take Print. Further, he/she will confirm their admission by paying admission and semester fee. The accounts department will confirm the payment made against the challan form.
- Upon confirmation of the accounts department, the system will enroll the applicant in the desired program and applicant will receive his/her roll number and domain-based accounts through Emails and SMS.
Instructions
- Applicants will deposit the admission processing fee in any branch of Faysal Bank. The fee is non-refundable.
- University will not consider applications which are incomplete or missing the required documents.
- Admission office and Treasurer office shall update the application status. Keep on checking your status on the USKT admission portal. If the application fee has been paid but not updated within three working days then contact the query cell for assistance.
- MS or M Phil candidates must take care of test and interview deadlines as per the admission calendar.
- Merit list shall be displayed on the website on the specified dates, however, it is recommended to login to the portal and check your admission status. An applicant can select multiple degree programs of the same level offering at the university.
